[dropcap]O[/dropcap]hio University’s Career and Leadership Development Center (CLDC) has launched two new and exciting career coaching events, titled “pop-ins” and “pop-ups,” that will provide students and alumni with weekly opportunities to meet with career coaches for quick 10-minute drop-ins.
The pop-in career coaching program will occur every Monday from 1 to 3 p.m. at the CLDC on the fifth floor of Baker University Center while the pop-up career coaching program will take place every Wednesday from 1 to 3 p.m. at various locations on the Athens Campus.
These new options for career coaching sessions are designed to provide the OHIO community with easy, stress-free access to the CLDC’s professional staff to discuss such professional development matters as creating the perfect resume and finding the ideal major, internship or job.
“We want to meet the students where they are. We also wanted to create some fun, low-risk ways for students to interact with us and get introduced to our services and resources,” said Jodi Pavol, assistant director for outreach at the CLDC. “Our goal is to increase our outreach to the campus community and encourage more students to engage with our office.”
