Open house to celebrate all OHIO women Nov. 19

[dropcap]T[/dropcap]he Ohio University Women’s Center is teaming up with ohiowomen to host an open house celebrating all OHIO women on Thursday, Nov. 19 from 3 to 6 p.m. in Baker University Center 403.
Provost Benoit will make remarks and introduce M. Geneva Murray, the new director of the Women’s Center, to the University community.
In collaboration with the Open House, René Banglesdorf, CEO and owner of Charlie Bravo Aviation, will present, “Crushing Mediocrity: The Sure Way to Become a World Changer,” at 5:30 p.m. in the Baker University Center Theater. Her talk examines women and entrepreneurship and is sponsored by Ohio University’s TechGROWTH Ohio, the Center for Entrepreneurship and OHIO Women in Business.
Refreshments and giveaways will be available at the open house, in addition to a raffle for ohiowomen travel mugs. The first 50 OHIO women faculty and staff will also receive an ohiowomen t-shirt.
The OHIO Women’s Center is part of the Office for Diversity and Inclusion that works to spread awareness, advocacy and education about women, gender and diversity throughout OHIO and surrounding communities.
ohiowomen engages and connects OHIO alumnae, faculty, staff, students and friends to facilitate networking, mentoring and support for each other.
